He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sherman Hamlett and Sarah "Billie" Mildred Hamlett (Williams). He is survived by: his wife Thresa Hamlett of Peoria. He is also survived by two sons, two daughters-in-law, and 6 grandchildren.
