She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Lopez and Delores Gastelum; and her siblings, Ramona and Rodolfo. She is survived by: her former husband Claude V. Lopez; her children, Andrea, Claude, David, Gilbert, Larry and Lee; her husband James G. Powers; her stepchildren, Bob and Doris; and her siblings, Gilbert and Carmen. She is also survived by 2 stepchildren, 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Donations in lieu of flowers to St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church, Salvation Army, American Red Cross, Peoria Historical Society or Cancer Research.
