As we bid Aileen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Kirkendall and Joycie Kirkendall (Troyer); and her siblings, Howard, James "Bud" Kirkendall, Marguerite Belleville and Helen Stinson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Denver (Tom) and Lisa Santagate (Franklin). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
