He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Metts and Judy Metts (Meissner) of Artesia, NM; his wife Cheri Metts of Pearce, AZ; his daughter Jackie Murphy of Sierra Vista, AZ.; his father-in-law Patrick Dye (Ellie) of Monument, CO.; his siblings, Brad (Teresa), Scott Metts (Tami) of Colorado Springs, CO, Teri Gilbert (Brian) of Artesia, NM and Kyla Butts (Michael) of Farmington, NM.; his siblings-in-law, Angela Roper (Albert) of Gunnison, CO, Leslie Dye of Monument, CO and Eldon Dye of Palmer Lake, CO.; his nieces and nephews, Cory, Danny, Mollie, Kevin, Dylan Metts, Jared Gilbert, Sean (Ashley), Lauren Butts, Josh, Ryan Roper (Lauren) and Alex Dye; his brother Michael John Metts; his mother-in-law Diann Dye; and his grandparents, Lantford, LaVerne Meissner, Charles and Beverly Metts.
