He was predeceased by: his parents, Rowland Merrill and Margaret Merrill; his sons, Mark Cutler Merrill and David Chad Merrill; and his siblings, Rowland, Craig Merrill and Margot Merrill.
He is survived by: his children, Alan, Natalie, Brian, Jill, Joshua and Tiffany; his grandchildren, Annie, Katie, Rosie, Steve, Kyle, Matthew, Emily, Nathan, Jeff, Mark, Alyssa, Elekcia, Jacey and Adam; his great grandchildren, Eliza, Owen and Luke; and his sister Pam Prunckun (Merrill).
Viewing was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Larkin Mortuary (260 E S Temple St, Salt Lake City, UT 84111). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Salt Lake City Cemetery (200 N St E, Salt Lake City, UT 84103).
