She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Albert Waite and Ruth Genevieve Rothlisberger; her husband James Dewey Thornhill; her daughter Stacy Baxter; and her siblings, Jerry Waite, Susie Crook, Altheda Whitley, Belva Bond, Lurlene Lewis, Jacob Waite, William Waite, Nedra Finch and Gloria Mangum.

She is survived by: her son Donovan Thornhill (Henrietta); and her son-in-law James Baxter. She is also survived by sister, Violet Coffee and 6 grandchildren.
