He was predeceased by: his parents, Hank and Hattie; his brothers, Ken and Henry Jr.; and his sons, Derk and Andy.

He is survived by: his sister Hattie Janssen; his wife Rosemary; and his sons, Eric (Normajean) and Matt (Vicki). He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
