He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Marie Schmetterer and Fred Jacob Schlecht; and his brothers, Freddy Schlecht and Robert Schlecht. He is survived by: his wife Bach Thuoc Nguyen; his children, Tammy Eilenfeldt (David), Kerry Johns (Greg), Romy Drysdale and Dan Schlecht (Amy); his grandchildren, Tyler Eilenfeldt, Jared Johns, Conner Eilenfeldt, Nathan Johns, Kassidy Johns, Matthew Schlecht, Katelyn Schlecht, Kyle Drysdale and Ryker Drysdale; and his cousins, Walter Schneider and Sissi Leinor.
