He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis J. Taber; and his son Philip Taber III. He is survived by: his parents, Erna C. Taber and Philip Taber; his sister Betty Bottler of Seattle; and his children, Nancy Pilkington of Tulsa, Ann Preston of Flagstaff, Molly Graham of Atlanta and John Taber of Tucson.
