It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lamont W. Bawden (Paradise Valley, Arizona), who passed away on December 2, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Lamont may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his mother Vera Bawden. He is survived by: his father Charles Bawden; his wife Louisa A McDiarmid; and his children, Scott (Becky), Angie (Claud) and Jenny (Chris). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (6840 E Gold Dust Ave, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Elysian Gardens Cemetery (1075 E 4580 S, Millcreek, UT 84117).
