He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Amory and John Amory; his son Barkley (Lisa); his granddaughters, Kimberly and Wendy; his wife Marcie; his daughters, Kimberly (Marco) and Wendy (Greg); his grandchildren, Taylor, Collier, Matthew, Alexandra, Minnie and Preston; his sister Mally Haight; and his grandson Nicholas.
While continuing to commute to his office in Phoenix, John involved himself in the town and served as president of the Wickenburg Conservation Foundation.
