He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Russell Preston and Hazel Eleanor Buchanan; his sisters, Beverly and Kaye; his wife Joan; his children, Beth Buchanan and Jeffrey (Martha Buchanan); his sister Judy Willard; his niece Stephanie Towery; his grandchildren, Zachary Preston Buchanan and Katherine Buchanan Hoeck; and his great grandchild Charles Jeffrey Buchanan. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
