She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Rothwell and Mae Rothwell (Steffen); her husband Dick Zachariasen; her daughter Sue; her daughter-in-law Debbie (Peterman); and her brother Ralph.
She is survived by: her son Dan; her granddaughter Sue; and her children, Lyn Nixon (Carver), Meredith Shafer (Ken), Emma, Maryn (Rick Beahm), Brennan, Everlee, Loryn Sommerville (Jacob), Genevieve, Jack, Ann Morrison (George), George III and Billy. She is also survived by the cousins and nieces who joined her children.
During COVID, Virginia moved into Starfish Care Homes, and we cannot thank the staff there enough for their loving care of her in the last year of her life.
