He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Gintz and Marian Gintz (Dolan); his wife Lana; his daughters, Heather and Stefnie; his grandchild Brantley; and his siblings, Michael (Mary), Dennis (Linda), Jerry (Julie) and Nancy Rommel (Kendall Bert). He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
