He was predeceased by: his wife Freda Faye Burrows; his parents, Myrtle and Reginald; his sisters, Bevy, Margie, Dorothy, Eunice and Marion; and his son James Burrows.

He is survived by: his children, Stan (Pearl) and Ellen; his grandchildren, Timothy, Trisha, Kenneth, Becky, Daniel and Erica; and his great grandchildren, William and Alexa.
