She is survived by: her parents, Allen Young and Arnelle Young; her husband Donald G. Calhoun, Sr.; her children, Ebony, Essence, Moni (Jason Blakely) and Donald Jr. (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Ayane De La Torre, Rowan, Tayven, Aarya, Natalie and Addison; and her sister Pamela Young.
