It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Madrid in Oro Valley, Arizona, born in Gonzales Ranch, New Mexico, who passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Samuel leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Samuel may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Madrid and Concepcion Madrid; his wife Luisita; his son Anthony L. Madrid; and his grandsons, Jimmie Madrid and William Madrid.
He is survived by: his children, Jesse Madrid (Josefina), Tobias Madrid (Maria), Paul LeRoy Madrid (Syliva), Bertha Esquivel (Anthony), Ida Aguirre (Alex) and Cindy Madrid (Rex Schwartz).
