It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raymond Joseph Meeker Jr. (Oro Valley, Arizona), born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on July 11, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Joseph and Arlene Evelyn Meeker (Johnson); his wife Deborah; his children, Jennifer Durham, Danny Smith (Christina) of Mesa and Troy Smith of Tiptonville, TN; his siblings, Marrily Cady (Don) of Blairsville, GA and William Meeker (Mary Kent) of Folkston, GA; his mother-in-law Marlene Clay of West Covina, CA; and his granddaughter Breanna Smith of Mesa, AZ. He was also cherished by his brother-in laws, sister in laws, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Due to Covid-19 Services and interment will take place at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
