With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mirelda Lorraine Shelland of Oro Valley, Arizona, born in New Auburn, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 29, 2024 at the age of 93. As Mirelda Lorraine departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mirelda Lorraine. Though Mirelda Lorraine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Robert Shelland; and her great grandchild Ella Vevia. She is survived by: her daughter Wanda Lee Bailey (Roger); her siblings, Doris Loftus (MN), Donna Berg (MN) and Ronald Halvorson (WI); her grandchildren, Jon Vevia (Kyla) of OR, David Vevia (Jessica) of CA and Kristina Vevia (SD); and her great grandchildren, Gibson Vevia, Annabeth Vevia, Riley Vevia and Adam Anguiano.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (3015 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705).
