He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roland Bassett and Doris Bassett; his wife Carol Ann Seyfarth-Bassett; his sister Cindy Scott; his children, John (Cindy), Valerie Bibus (Bill) and Victoria Cesaretti; and his stepdaughter Jill Sullivan Baker (Eric). He was also cherished by six Grandchildren and one Great Granddaughter.
