He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Emma; and his brother Bobby. He is survived by: his wife Edith; his friend Edith; his children, Jonathan and Elizabeth (Karl); his grandchildren, Martina, Ava and Michael; his sister Tootie; and also Edith.

Covid restrictions tested his resolve and other health issues cropped up preventing chemotherapy.
