It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick William Mietzner of Oro Valley, Arizona, born in Shelbyville, Illinois, who passed away on May 20, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mietzner and Frieda Mietzner; his brothers, Maurice (Mo) and Kenneth; and his son David.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Cartwright Keown; his daughter-in-law Becky; his children, Nancy Sundstrom (John), Joel (Pamela) and Jonathan (Jennifer); his siblings, June Timm, Glen, Freeman (Nancy), Nancy Cary, Lloyd (Lynn), Lola Parbs and Lois Powell (Gene); his grandchildren, Kyle, Jessica, Allison, Lee, Joey, Ashley, Adam, Amy, Alyssa and Zachary; and his stepgrandsons, Kevin and Kenny. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
