He is survived by: his wife Kathy Kennedy Beck of Oro Valley; his children, Hope Beck Goldsmith (Galen Goldsmith) of Tucson and David Allen Beck (Alison Beck) of San Diego, California; his stepdaughter Jennifer "Jeffe" Kennedy (David Money) of Santa Fe; his grandchildren, Brett, Henry Goldsmith of Phoenix, Tabitha and David Riley Beck of San Diego, California; and his sister Marilyn Beck Fagen of Houston, Texas..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Texas A&M Association of Former Students, in the name of David H. Beck.
