With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertie Lou Steger (Oro Valley, Arizona), who passed away on July 20, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Edwards and Myrtle Edwards; her brother Tom Edwards; and her husband Bob Steger. She is survived by: her daughters, Bobbie Wilson (Sid) and Lynn Hudson; her grandchildren, Chris Wilson, Dan Wilson, Amy Hudson and Sara Hudson; and her great grandchildren, Maya Wilson and Autumn Wilson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Bertie's zest for life was not diminished by Alzheimer's disease, cheerfully walking her puppy Taffy and winning a beauty pageant while at Brookdale.
