He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anne Bennett and Arthur Vernon Petty, Sr.; his wife Theresa Gabel (Reeves); his children, Roderick of Tuscaloosa, AL, Dina Horton of Toccoa, GA and Heather Regnault (Phil) of Atlanta, GA; and his stepson Gerald Gabel (Katie) of Whetstone, AZ. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren.
