Sylvia was born on March 28, 1955, a radiant light that brought joy and love into the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. She was a remarkable woman, filled with kindness, compassion, and an unwavering devotion to her family. Her presence brought warmth and comfort, and her genuine smile lit up every room she entered.
Sylvia's greatest joy in life was being a loving mother to her children, Carlos Alberto, Janet Elizabeth, Denise Angelica, and Jorge Luis. She dedicated herself to nurturing and supporting them, imparting invaluable lessons of love, strength, and resilience. Sylvia's unwavering love and guidance shaped the individuals they have become, forever grateful for the foundation she laid.
Being a grandmother was Sylvia's greatest delight. She showered her four grandchildren, Isadora Knapp, Jorge Tapia, Jacob Henry Tapia, and Hayden McClanahan, with an abundance of affection and adoration. Her unwavering love and joyful spirit made each moment spent with her a treasured memory for her grandchildren, who will forever cherish her presence in their lives.
Sylvia was a true beacon of light, always ready with a comforting hug, a listening ear, or a word of encouragement. She had an incredible ability to make everyone feel valued and loved, and her generosity knew no bounds. A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 24, 2023 at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Parish in Nogales, AZ, where we will come together to celebrate Sylvia's remarkable life and bid her a heartfelt farewell.
