He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Hilda Elisa Cuevas; and his daughters, Hilda Elisa Higuera (Felipe Higuera), Marisela Guadalupe Cuevas (Rick Johnson), Isabel Cristina Soto (Gustavo Soto) and Ivonne Patricia Brown (Reuben Brown). He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
