He is survived by: his wife Lydia Martinez; his children, Francisco Martinez, Sylvia Cota, Martha Rodriguez, Ana Lilia Martinez, Elsa Mendivil and Maria Isabel Quezada; and his siblings, Alfonso Martinez, Porfirio Martinez, Oralia Tapia and Ramona Oropeza. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
