She was predeceased by: her husband Ignacio Castaneda; her daughter Magarita Castaneda; and her brother Luis Nides. She is survived by: her children, Ignacio Castaneda Jr., Hector Francisco Castaneda, Carmen Elias (Miguel), Rosa Maria Castaneda and Maria Teresa Castaneda; her daughter-in-law Gloria Castaneda; and her sister-in-law Angelina Nides. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, and 20 great great grandchildren.
