He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike T. Chavez and Ofelia Chavez; his sister-in-law Dianna Chavez; and his grandson Vincent Hernanadez. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Williams; his former wife Mary Elizabeth Romero; his children, Dennis Chavez, Delia Bejarano (David) and Julienne Aquino (David); and his siblings, David Chavez, Jeanette Nolasco and Stanley Chavez.
