She is survived by: her husband Jim Smith; her siblings, Sandy, Bill, James and Randy; her children, Jimmy, Jason and Jessica; and her grandchildren, Garrett, Kaitlin, Hannah, Madison and Jaymie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Project Opal at the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, an organization deeply valued by Brenda.
