He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathlina Benavidez and Thomas Benavidez; his sons, Eddie and Joey; and his siblings, Phillip, Edward, Angel and Dora.
He is survived by: his spouse Medith; his daughter Theresa; his daughter-in-law Nita; his adoptive daughter Kathleen; his grandchildren, Jake, Tamyia, Tamanique, Daniel, Amanda and Cole; and his siblings, Joseph, Patrick, Alex, Molly, Frances and Yolanda. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
