He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Calhoun, and Shirley Calhoun, Sr. (Freeman); his siblings, Mary Beaumont, Michael Calhoun and Ernest Calhoun, Jr.; and his nephew Justin Kirby.

He is survived by: his significant other Crystal Jones; his children, Sara Johnson (Christopher) of Asheville, NC. and Benjamin "Kain" Calhoun (Robin) of Hastings, MN.; his grandchildren, Hayward Rowles (Anne), Camden Rowles, Phillip Lytle (Maile Emile), Khiry Lytle, Tierney McAdams and LaKynzee Bornstein (Nicholas); and his siblings, Arthur Calhoun (Wanda) of LaFargeville, NY, Patrick Calhoun of Watertown, NY, Linda Morris (Rick) of Watertown, NY, Rebecca Towsley (Tim) of Watertown, NY, Shirley Weston (Jack) of Watertown, NY, Colleen Calhoun (Edward Sanford) of Watertown, NY, Cathleen O'Bryan (Patrick) of Watertown, NY and Eileen Calhoun of Watertown, NY. He is also survived by 4 step grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the American Legion Post 61.
