We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Sam M. Kingsland (Mesa, Arizona), born in Chicago, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel F. Kingsland and Rose Kingsland (Marturano); his daughters, Christine Ryan (John) and Andrea Mattern (Rick) of Mesa, AZ; his grandchildren, Cassidy Ryan of Chicago, Kylie Fletcher (Jacob) of Gilbert, AZ and Brody Ryan of Phoenix, AZ; and his sister Judy of Oak Brook, IL. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.

“Uncle Sammy was one of my favs. Stoic yet funny, he had a way of creating a great environment whether in a group or one-on-one. He made people feel comfortable and relaxed. I will miss his cooking and fondly remember all the great times at his and Phyl's house over the many years. They remain some of my fondest memories. I still use one of the gifts he arranged for me over 40 yrs ago on a daily basis. I now view it in a different light and will remember him each time I use it. Love you...”
