He was predeceased by: his parents, Sicilian and Gaetano. He is survived by: his children, Gaetano Bongiorno (Debra) of Chandler, AZ and Carissa Bongiorno (Rich Valeika) of San Francisco, CA.; and his grandchildren, Samuel Paul Bongiorno of Seattle, WA, Gianna Maree Bongiorno of Chandler, AZ, Clarke Noelle Valeika and Jed Ryan Valeika of San Francisco, CA.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans or St Jude Children's Hospital.
