He was predeceased by: his parents, Clester Hyer and Ercille Larsen Hyer; and his siblings, Wallace Hyer, Nedra Hyer Muir and David Hyer.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Ann Morris; his children, Chris Hyer (Nancy) of Moses Lake, Washington, Lynn Hyer (Cyndi) of Marietta, Georgia, John Hyer (Debbie) of Moses Lake, Washington, Lora Wood (Joseph) of Moses Lake, Washington, Jill Caldwell (Guy) of Mesa, Arizona and Kathy Fowers (Jason) of Fountain Hills, Arizona; and his brother Paul Hyer. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Sunland Spring Village's San Tan Center (2820 S Springwood Blvd, Mesa, AZ 85209). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sunland Springs Village San Tan Center (2820 S Springwood Blvd, Mesa, AZ 85209).
