He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Sanford and Georgia Sanford; his brothers, Wallace Sanford and Richard Sanford; his grandson Brady Sanford; and his great grandchild Marlee Erlandson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Sanford (Langdon); his children, Jackie Erlandson (Rock), Corey Sanford (Holly) and Jody Houghton (Dave); and his grandchildren, James Erlandson (Josie), Tomi Erlandson, Josie Sanford, Christian Sanford (Melanie), Samantha Gaslin (Levi), Mikayla Foster and Mitchell Kubista (Josie). He is also survived by great grand-children; and nieces and nephew.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Faith United Methodist Church (617 Maple Ln Ave, Spring Valley, MN 55975). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cherry Grove United Methodist Church.
