He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Timmerman and Helen Timmerman; his brother Ron; his mother-in-law Mary Dempsey; his siblings-in-law, Gilbert Dempsey and Jacqueline Dzieciolowski; and his daughter-in-law Mary Potts Timmerman.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Sheree Spraglin (Dwayne), Michelle Falcon (Bill), Beth Peters (Joe), Tim Timmerman (Siobhan) and Pam Hoadley (Gerry); and also, Zoey, Michael, Thomas, Nick, Sarah, Kristin, Rob of Anna, J. J., Tyler, Tommy, Trace, Patrick, Caitlin, Tessa, Mary Grace, Katie, Jonathon and Kalindi.
