He was predeceased by: his parents, Ysmael Chavez and Aurora Chavez. He is survived by: his wife Maria Chavez; and his children, Ralph Chavez, Art Chavez, Gilbert Chavez, Diane Chavez and Tina Chavez. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
