She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry and Violet; her great-nieces, Evie and Amelia; and her husband Carter.
She is survived by: her brother Dr. John R. Valdin (Juliana) of Danville, CA; and her children, Dr. Michael J. Fassett (Agustin Flores), Tucson, Susan Kay Fassett and Tony Herrera (Sheryl). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (161 N Mesa Dr, Mesa, AZ 85201). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Mountain View Cemetery (7900 E Main St, Mesa, AZ 85207).
