He was predeceased by: his parents, Dillon Lewis and Edna Bates; his siblings, John Lewis, Ellen Murdock and Doris Trimble; and his grandson Dirk Hall Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Verdena Barney Lewis; his children, Debrah, Dexter, Denise and Dixie; and his siblings, Donavon, Kenneth, Steven Lewis, Ada Jane Athay and Edna Mae Lewis. He is also survived by grandchildren; 36 amazing great-grandchildren; one sweet great-great-grandchild.
