He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Bryant and Mildred Bryant; and his siblings, Basil "Sonny" Bryant, Joe William Bryant and Barbara Jean Bryant.

He is survived by: his child Todd; his grandchildren, Adam and Kady; his wife Sigi; his daughter-in-law Todd; his children, Erik, Anna and Molly; his friend David Thayer; his sister Jackie Newman; his brother-in-law Leif Strand (Edel); and also, Patty, Adam and Kady. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
