Shonka of Mesa, Arizona, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on May 10, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Shonka and Tillie Shonka; and his wife Frances. He is survived by: his children, Dan Shonka (Peggy), Debra Shonka-Barta (Richard), Christy Shonka, Carol Wentworth (Eric) and Nancy Padberg (David).
