He is survived by: his spouses, Karen Kumler and Virginia Stone; his sister Barbara Aiken; his children, Andrew Boyd, Megan Boyd, Renee Nelson, Denise Nelson, Ruth Nelson and Carline Nelson; and his stepdaughters, Laura Stone, Polly Mann and Sara Klause. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
