She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin F. Adkins; her siblings, Oral Lee Lantrip, Lowell Lantrip, Amon Lantrip, Wilmer Lantrip, Otis Lantrip, Lottie Mae King, Myrtie Marie Vandiver and Imajene Collins; and her stepson Bruce Adkins.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Brahm and Pamela Wheaton (Robert); her sister Margie Lou Shelton; and her stepchildren, Brenda Allen (Paul), Beverly McDonald (Phillip), Jackie Adkins, Brian Adkins and Brad Adkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Church Of The Redeemer, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Easterseals, Boys Town, Father Flanagan's Boys' Home, Disabled American Veterans, Paralyzed Veterans of America, VIDOL (Veterans in Defense Of Liberty), U.S. Deputy Sheriff's Association and St. Joseph's Indian School.
