He is survived by: his children, Linda Kay (Ricard Sarff) and Jeffrey Allen Higgins; his significant other Irene Rogers Smith; his brother Robert Higgins (Riksene) of Duluth; and his grandchildren, Chad Higgins (Lauren), David Sarff (Jackie), Elizabeth Sarff, Laura Kerkvliet (Joshua), Nathan Sarff and Cody Kerkvliet. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
