He is survived by: his wife Sharon Akins (Stone); his sister Ella Jean Tuttle; and his daughters, Niki Hufstedler (Deon), Katrina Stallings (Rick) and Amber Fondaw (Gabe). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
