He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Myrtle Reil and Kenneth Atherton; his wife Susan; his son Donald Atherton; his siblings, Shirley (Don Nelson) and Larry Atherton (Linda); his grandson James; and his siblings, Woody and Kerry. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
