He is survived by: his wife Linda Ackerman (Matala) of Marana, AZ; his children, Mark Ackerman of Covington, KY and Kristin Freeseman; his grandson Benton Leo Freeseman of Chicago, IL; and his siblings, Robert Ackerman (Barbara) of Cedar City, UT, Mary Jo Seidl of Green Bay, WI and Jean Schriever of Whitewater, WI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
