She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Abelardo Romero and Julia Romero; her brother Anselmo; her uncle Joe Flores; and her brother Joe Romero. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

After a prolonged battle with Alzheimer disease at age 82.
